Welly-Boot Garden
Started as a project to diversify St Monans in preperation for the 'Beautiful Fife' competition, the Welly Boot Garden is nothing short of a whimsical, lovely, and truly quirky village addition. Attracting many visitors every year, and even featuring at the Ingliston Flower Show, these wellies have some stories to tell!
Situated on the disused St Monans Slipway, the garden really helps to revitalise, and colour the once-lacking area. With a wide arrary of welly sizes, shapes, colours and flower types, the site is sure to grab your eye, and the village harbour would not be the same without it.
From wellies with flowers, to wellies with spots, you will most certainly love this powerful little garden. An example of excellent community work, the garden is maintained by some kind volunteers that help with recieving welly donations, planting flowers, and maintaining the area. What started with a pair of wellies, has now grown to nearly 200 pairs over time.
